There are some major names on Fado but only a few can claim to be able to gather two different generations on the same stage as Jorge Fernando.

A brilliant composer and one of Amalia Rodrigues favorite guitar players and composers with whom he shared studios and stages for more than 20 years, Jorge Fernando is also a very important author who helped some of the new generation fado singers to define their own careers. He composed some of the most sucessful hits for Mariza, Camane, Ana Moura or Cristina Branco.

Fado is actually living a golden age: new voices, new poets, new composers and even new ways of understanding it. But what remains and what matters, is the miracle of this music and these words attaching to what we call soul, in a beautiful, deep and irreversible way.
