UGURU is a brand developed by Antonio Ribeiro da Cunha, Unipessoal Lda (ARC,2002)

ARC develops its activity on the music market, specialising on:
* artist management and artist projects,
* shows concept management,
* music marketing,
* musical events,
* audiovisuals and other communication supports, like broadcasting.
ANTONIO CUNHA
A very experienced artist manager that started in the 80's to fill the gap on professionalism for portuguese music market.
He got together with Pedro Ayres de Magalhaes and founded, in 1986, the artist agency Uniao Lisboa.
Madredeus, Resistencia, Santos & Pecadores, Delfins, Despe & Siga, Mler Ife Dada, Tres Tristes Tigres, Maria Joao and Mario Laginha are amongst the dozens of artists that Antonio helped to build a national and international career.
At this moment the music industry in Portugal changed and moved forward to gain international acknowledgement.
Music in this corner of Europe was not (and is not) only about Fado.
After some years, in 2003, something had to change again, and UGURU was born.
A brand orientated to the international market, and focused in working with artists distinguished by the originality, quality and coherence of their own creations.
Besides exporting some of the great names of the portuguese music artists, Antonio is also responsible (with his companies ARC & UGURU), for bringing to Portugal the most relevant and actual names that are producing the best music in the world.
Rejecting the 'trap' that can be to attach UGURU or ARC to a music genre, one can only recommend a visit to our roster and listen to our main artists.
