Born in Caracas but based in the city of Mexico DF, La Vida Bohème, one of the first indie bands from Venezuela, are preparing the release of their third album, entitled La Lucha, recorded and produced by Eduardo Cabra ('visitante' in Calle 13) .This album culminates the trilogy that began with their previous works, Nuestra and Será, which have led them to receive the Latin Grammy for the Best Rock Album. Influenced by latin rhythms such as merengue or joropo and full of double meaning lyrics, La Vida Bohème reflects Venezuela's social scene of the last years, while their melodies basis firmly points to alternative european pop.
