Back to Kinshasa in the 30's. Bakolo Music International, the mythic group of Wendo Kolosoy is back with a new single!
The Bakolo "pionneers" play a pure and traditional folk congolese rumba. At almost 80 years old, they release a new single.
"Ngange" is a Kicongo word meaning "Sorcerer" or "Fetichist" refering to the numerous fake sorcerers using black magie to fear and influence people in the Congolese Capital of Kinshasa.
The single was not recorded in one of the numerous fancy studios of Kinshasa but in house with a sound ingeneer, a mix table and microphones. You may hear some street noices in it. This is an experience to catch an original and pure sound.
Released June 21, 2016
