I assist in the coordination of international projects across all art-forms for Wales based practitioners and am responsible for the development and management of Wales Arts International's website, newsletter and trade fair activity.
I am also responsible for the coordination of the Cerdd Cymru : Music Wales website, which is a partnership between Welsh Music Foundation, Wales Arts International and Arts Council of Wales.
We bring together the music industry and musicians in Wales to develop international opportunities that benefit Wales economically and culturally.
Cerdd Cymru : Music Wales is responsible for putting together the successful bid for Cardiff to host WOMEX in 2013.
Cardiff Council, Cardiff and Co, Motorpoint Arena and Wales Millennium Centre are Directors of Cerdd Cymru : Music Wales and it is supported by the Welsh Government and British Council.
Wales Arts International is a partnership between Arts Council of Wales and the British Council: it works to promote knowledge about contemporary culture from Wales and encourage international collaboration.
Musicians from Wales can apply to our International Opportunities Fund, that helps artists from Wales to work internationally. We also work closely with the British Music abroad scheme with PRS for Music. For further information please visit www.wai.org.uk
