“WÖR is a band that takes old material and looks at it with fresh eyes. It really is fascinating to hear the repertoire of Ioannes De Gruijtters (Antwerp, 1746) or Robert D’Aubat de Saint-Flour (Brussels, 1757) being brought up to date by these passionate musicians.

The result is music from the past, enriched with modern knowledge. When WÖR get their hands this 18th century music and arrange it in their own style, it gets a whole new lease of life. Just like good quality folk rock, it's a combination that really works!”
