Born in 1963 in Bochum,Germany. Stephan Siedler is a graduate CAD-CAM and solar energy engineer.
He also studied multimedia management. His work experience includes five years as system administrator for a design lighting company. He is an avid photographer and runs a photo gallery in Berlin, has been involved with free radio in Bochum and Berlin for years, organized Hardcore concerts and discovered his love for World Music through Kurdish music and the culture of refugees in Germany. At WOMEX since 1997, Stephan is initiator and manager of virtualWOMEX - the online music trade fair. He is also digital music consultant for the Piranha / WOMEX group. He speaks German and English.
