Afenginn's homebrewed compositions and unique style has been categorized as bastard-ethno, with a sigh of Nordic melancholy and a twist of cheerful madness. We are talking a twilight zone, where also Tom Waits, Gogol Bordello, Tiger Lillies and Kaizers Orchestra can be found.

With the release of their second album "Akrobakkus", Afenginn has purified and developed their style. The album has guest musicians in the multitalented actor Zlatko Buric and the gipsy cimbalom virtuoso George Mihalache.
