Copenhagen-based SALSA LOCA remain one of the most popular live Salsa Bands in Scandinavia. 2004 has seen the band, amongst other things, playing at festivals outside Denmark. Meanwhile, SALSA LOCA's uniquely European Salsa sound has been receiving considerable airplay on radio stations and in clubs around the world from Catania to Calgary to Chicago. The band's characteristic fusing of Cuban Timba with more classic Salsa and creative studio production has had DJs in an otherwise stereotyped genre finding superlatives.
