World On A String consists of the 4 musicians: John Sund: 6 & 12 string guitar (co-leader), Bjarke Falgren: midi-violin & viola (co-leader), Morten Lundsby: acoustic bass and Ole Theill: tabla.
All members have for a long time been a part of the Danish jazz-scene and toured worldwide. They have worked both live and in the studio with such different artists as: Van Morrison, The Danish Radio Big Band, NHØP, Creme Fraiche, Mariam Mursal, Palle Mikkelborg, Virgo and Salem.
The musicians combine their own European music culture with jazz, Irish, Indian and Balkan folklore in a most enthralling way.
