World Village Festival is an annual event for the whole family. It's a meeting point open to all with cultural treats and surprises from all over the world: music, dance, theatre, workshops, literature, sport and food

World Village Festival is the place to encounter new viewpoints on tolerant multiculturalism, development work and globalisation, as well as finding ways to influence things in daily life.

At the festival one can find different ways to act now for a fairer world. Some 200 organizations are there demonstrating the power of civil society action.

The main organiser is the Service Centre for Development Cooperation, KEPA, an umbrella organisation for over 270 development organisations or other NGOs working on issues concerning development and globalisation. KEPA itself is a politically and ideologically non-aligned organisation that operates with funding from the Finnish foreign ministry.
