Using a savory mixture of unpublished works and revisited oldies, the CD "Versions Originales" from the Belgian harmonica player Thierry Crommen received excellent reviews following its release in 2007. It was also one of the most often attended stage concerts in Belgium in 2009, and was quite well received internationally (Quebec and Japan). With the release of his third album entitled "Diversions" on the label homerecords.be, Thierry has created a repertoire of many contrasts, sometimes light and optimistic, sometimes lyrical and deeply moving.

As always on stage, the quartet with Chris De Pauw on acoustic guitar, Erno on piano and Achim Tang on double bass, develops in this new opus a rich palette of colors and sounds. Together Thierry and his group reach a level of rare complicity: an exquisite treat for the listener who is led to the crossroads of Folk, Jazz and even Pop music. Thierry, who is equally comfortable in all of these different styles, always adds his personnel touch and really blows a breath of fresh air in the harmonica.
