The selection- an urgent sonic reflection looked at deeper themes and questions emerging at this time. With topics ranging from the representation of Africa, female empowerment, diversity, inclusivity, the Black lives matter movement, grassroots community actions, ecology and spirituality; the programme pushed forward stories left out of mainstream narratives— revealing opportunities to connect through progressive storytelling.

The Film Programme serves as a platform for the film industry to reach new markets while exploring innovative distribution and production channels. It is also a space for the global music community to discover music, musicians and projects, as well as look into alternative programming opportunities - further strengthening the conversation between the film and the music industry.

Check out the Reflections section for a dose of articles, interviews and stories from the film programme.
