121 DigitalMedia was created on January 1, 2009, a joint venture which gathers 121 MusicStore, Sybot’s downloading platform, and Spirale Music.

In a music market undergoing radical transformation, 121 DigitalMedia will be active on the market of individuals and professionals:

On the B2B market, CDs and DVDs are sold through traditional networks but also in specialized bookstores.

Made-to-measure compilations produced from the 121 catalogues, streaming subscriptions, personalised web radios, enable professionals to have their very own musical ambiance.

One the B2C market, the CDs and DVDs are also sold online to individuals through certain websites such as Amazon.fr or Alapage.fr, until the opening of 121MediaStore.eu which will sell CDs, DVDs, vinyls and tie-ins.

The digital music [MP3] is sold online to individuals on www.121musicstore.eu and the group’s other websites.

2009 objectives

In 2009, 121 DigitalMedia will rely on its 10-strong team to turnover at least two million Euros [cumulated turnover of the music distribution activities of the Sybot and DG Diffusion companies].
Of course, for 2009, we will raise our objectives and will attempt to obtain two million visits and over 12 million pages seen. We are hoping to increase downloads by at least 50% and to maintain our present average connection rate.

Sales-wise, in 2009, we intend to reach at least the following figures:

Physical sales: 85% of the 2008 turnover, i.e. 1.8 million Euros
Digital sales: 200% of the 2008 turnover
Online B2C sales: 40 000 €
Tie-ins: 130 000 €
These objectives should be reached while maintaining our margins and developing a very aggressive price setting policy
