A restless and atypical dancer, always guided by the strict codes of traditional flamenco, Leonor incorporates her dance to the contemporary scene with the sense and sensitivity of our time, standing out as a reference of contemporary flamenco.

After a solid training in Classical and Spanish Dance, she finds in flamenco the vehicle for her artistic and personal development. After several years in the outstanding flamenco companies of Antonio "El Pipa", Andrés Marín, Javier Barón and the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía directed by Cristina Hoyos, from 2008 onwards she enters the world of choreographic creation and presents her own creations : "Leoleolé" (2008), "eLe eLe" (2011), "Mosaicos" (2012), “Naranja amarga” ("Bitter Orange") (2013), "Fragil" (2015) and “Nocturno” (2018).
She is an assiduous participant in very varied projects, from drama theater to different music genres (from Flamenco to Baroque, Classical and Contemporary), where she shares the creation work with other artists. In 2016, she presents the work "JRT", together with the bailaoras Úrsula López and Tamara López, in which they research, under the artistic direction of Pedro G. Romero, the underlying flamenco in the paintings of Julio Romero de Torres.
His latest creation, always in progress, always renewed, is titled "En talleres" (2019), a duo proposal in which she shares creation and stage with the percussionist and "performer" Antonio Moreno, under the artistic advice of the polifacetic artist Pedro G. Romero.
Her career as a soloist has merited various distinctions such as the Outstanding Dancer of the Madrid Choreographic Contest of Spanish Dance and Flamenco 2008, the award for Best Breakout Artist of the Festival de Jerez 2011or the Special Mention Of The Jury at the 36th Southern Theatre Festival 2019.
She presents her creations in the main European flamenco scenes such as the Seville and Nederland Flamenco Biennials or the festivals of Jerez, Dusseldorf, Esch, Nîmes, Mont de Marsan and Toulouse.
She complements her artistic career with the university studies on "Scenic practice and visual culture", a master degree proposed by the Reina Sofía Museum of Madrid, with her works as a researcher presented in the "danced lectures" Ahora Bailo yo (2016) and El lenguaje de las líneas (2019), and with her incursions as a writer for the books illustrated by the draftsman Raul Guridi Catalina sin pamplinas (Ediciones La fragatina, 2017) and Bailar (to be edited in 2019).
She has completed university studies in Musical Teaching, and combines her artistic career with this activity, being constantly requested as a teacher at international flamenco schools and festivals around the world.
