Ivresses Rapture - Omar Khayyam's sung poetries: Alireza Ghorbani & Dorsaf

Ode to God, to fate, to wine and its ecstasy, the "rubaiyat", quatrains from the poet and Persian philosopher Omar Khayyam sketch " God's ecstasy" in verses filled with mysticism. Nourished by the soufie philosophy, Omar Khayyam concerns an existential questioning about mankind, the enjoyment of living and the relation of men with the Creator. His verses describe a lover in search of the unspeakable secrets of life.

His poetry irrigated the Persian empire, then the Arabic world before joining the West. "Ivresse", creation gathering for the first time the Iranian singer Ali Reza Ghorbani and the Tunisian singer Dorsaf Hamdani, will allow to hear this poetry in a dialogue between Arabic world and Persian world.
