'TIERRA - Songs by Cuban Women' is nominated for a Latin GRAMMY® 2023. This album pays tribute to the rich musical heritage of Cuban country music, and especially to the talented women who have given us the gift of their songs. In the great arrangements by my musical colleagues, my songs, as well as those by the other singer-songwriters featured in this album, have taken on a new life. The album is a mix of rhythms from Cuba, Venezuela, Uruguay and Latin America with a jazz influence - our own Latino fusion.
Musicians: Marc Bischoff (piano), Efraim Trujillo (saxes/flute), Samuel Ruiz (double bass), Enrique Firpi (drums), Estrella Acosta (vocals) plus guests Gerardo Rosales (percussion) and Alberto Caicedo (coros).
