Addis Acoustic Project is a six piece group directed by guitarist Girum Mezmur that offers live performance of vintage Ethiopian music with the influence of mainly Jazz, Latin and East African musical traditions. All members of the group are based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The group has performed on international stages/festival in Europe and Africa and has an album on the world music label Harmonia Mundi. The band is looking forward to collaborate with agents for a more organized tour schedule.
