A singer and multi-disciplinary artist, Vittor Adél explores the rhythmic and historical diversity of Pagodão Baiano through music and dance, amplifying Black and LGBTQIAPN+ social, religious, and emotional narratives from his perspective as a black queer person. Currently doing a graduate course of Dance at the Federal University of Bahia, the artist has performed at major venues such as Concha Negra, Salvador Capital Afro, Casa PretaHUB (SP), IGR in Mozambique, and in two projects funded by Natura Musical across Brazil. He is also the creator of Pagodão Pride, which has had two editions approved through public arts funding calls. He has reached #30 on the Viral Salvador Spotify playlist with the song “Só” and was featured on two Spotify editorial playlists (“Respeito no Repeat - by Batekoo” and “House é Preta”) with the song “Entre Amigos RMX.” He is currently part of the artist roster of the music distributor GoPOP, a new initiative by POP Line.
