João Gabriel started singing at the age of eight in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, becoming the sensation at the senior dance at Clube Canto do Rio, which caught the attention of newspapers, magazines, and TV stations. These media quickly highlighted his early talent, leading him to perform with great musical icons like Leandro e Leonardo and Zezé Di Camargo e Luciano.

Since then, João Gabriel has released six albums. More recently, his song "Eu Quero Sempre Mais" was featured on the soundtrack of the Globo soap opera *O Outro Lado do Paraíso*. Today, João Gabriel has thousands of followers on social media and over 34 million views on YouTube.

In August 2019, the singer launched his first EP/DVD *João Gabriel no Morro* on digital platforms. Along with the six songs on the EP, João Gabriel released six videos, presented weekly on his official YouTube channel.

Produced in the outdoor area of the iconic Morro da Urca, the EP was musically directed by Blener Maycom, the same producer behind the hits "Jenifer" and "Atrasadinha." The EP’s repertoire blends rhythms and influences such as pagonejo, sertanejo, and even funk, like "Rebola Sem Pressa" featuring MC Maneirinho, and "Pézin na Rua" with Dilsinho. In less than a week, the video surpassed 1.1 million views.

In October 2020, the capital Goiânia was the stage for the recording of the DVD *João Gabriel Ao Vivo em Goiânia*, which took place at Doha Club. The singer, who has 25 years of career, featured special guests such as Lucas Lucco, Naiara Azevedo, Ícaro e Gilmar, Humberto e Ronaldo, and Flay in the recording.

This DVD is the singer's second project signed by renowned music producer Blener Maycom. Alongside great talents and Rafael Cabral, the manager of NA Produções Artísticas (an artistic management office in Goiânia), they turned this project into a great success.

In May 2023, back in Goiânia, he recorded the DVD *21 62*, named after the area codes that connect the two cities, Rio and Goiânia. And, as the saying goes, "never change a winning team" – it was produced by Blener Maycom with the support of renowned songwriter Waléria Leão. As for guest appearances, it featured Felipe Araújo, Ícaro e Gilmar, Edy Britto e Samuel, Clayton e Romário, Vinni e Rafa, and Mariana Fagundes.

Thus, João Gabriel continues to establish himself on the national music scene, showing Brazil that Rio also has its place in sertanejo music.
