Papa Orbe Ortíz is a musician, composer, singer, arranger and musical producer born in Santiago de Cuba. His experience ranges from La Casa de la Trova Santiaguera, to being a musician in the ensemble of the great trumpeter Felix Chappottin, from Totó La Momposina, Albita Rodriguez, Playing for Change Band and arranger at Discos Fuentes in Colombia.
Papa Orbe & Los Científicos del Sabor with “Sabor y Medio” presents us with a selection of his own compositions in an explosive mix of Son Cubano, Afrocuban jazz and boogaloo with an energetic live performance not to be missed. They have a powerful live show full of emotions and a lot of “sabrosura”, with the always complicity of the public, both listening and dancing.
