"Best New Artist at Brazilian Music Awards 2013"
Composer and instrumentalist, Rodrigo Campos began his artistic life playing cavaquinho and percussion in samba circles of Sao Mateus, neighborhood of Sao Paulo, where he grew up. With "Sao Mateus nao e um lugar assim tao longe" (2009), his first solo album, Rodrigo has achieved great recognition, &8232;winning awards and appearing on the leading newspapers as one of the best of the year. His second solo album, "Bahia Fantastica" (YB Music, 2012) is also reaping great reviews and prices nationally and internationally. In 2013 he won as Best New Artist at the Brazilian Music Awards.
