From 'soul and voice of Agricantus the new
Global Music
Tonj Acquaviva, artistic director and the creator of the sound of Agricantus continues with Millennium Klima his original research on music, visual arts and cultures .
In this CD he expands its focus on the structures in plant cells orchestral, sampling and manipulation of sounds and voices, also catching his polistrumentist nature of stringed instruments, wind and percussion on five continents.
Within coexist sounds of archaic that blend with modern tools and languages, such as the psychedelic sounds of electric guitars and keyboards "vintage" facing Asian strings and woodwinds, the songs go from rock to rhythmic trance or “ostinati”from the classic music, creating a "global world music" that spans from the hipnotic to dance.
A mixture of old and new already present in Agricantus, here pushed beyond the word music.
The female voice is Rosie Wiederkehr, the extraordinary singer of Agricantus, which renews the path of cooperation and research on texts and voice lines through the use of different languages, used as genuine stamps sound.
