On live performances, SENZA is always sharing an innovative dialogue with the audience, with exotic brushstrokes and danceable rhythms. With their first album (awarded album Antena 1), they performed on over 200 stages in India, USA, China, Timor, Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Algeria, and a few dozen in Europe and Africa. Musicians and travelers, compose songs inspired by their travels around the world. In their shows, they bring the sounds and stories of those remote places where they have been, making the audience travel along.
But it’s not just the sounds and travel stories that shape a SENZA concert. Inside and outside the songs, reflections on the world and on emerging issues of society are brought to light. Sustainability, equality, inclusion and social justice are addressed in a comprehensive language, wrapped in a positive sound texture: a unique, warm, evocative sound, with colorful instrumentation, full of identity.
The experience and maturity reflected in the international career and in the distinctive sonority of the band, whose compositions reveal a markedly Portuguese identity and yet imbued with exoticism and cultural transversality, justify that their work come with the partnership of artists such as Rão Kyao, Júlio Pereira and Carlão.
