Ana Lía will showcase at the Canadian B2BBQ, (a.k.a. "Canada and Quebec at WOMEX: This is Northern Turtle Island). This will be both a showcase and a networking event taking place on Tuesday, October 24. It will be presenting seven diverse Canadian talents: Shauit, Ana Lía, Bruno Capinan, Akawui, Ramón Chicharrón, Lara Wong, and Waahli. Canada @ WOMEX activities are supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, FACTOR, Musicaction, SODEC, Ontario Creates, the Canadian Embassy in Spain, the Bureau du Québec à Barcelone, the City of Toronto’s Music Office, and others. This event is being presented and curated by a collective of Canadian music organizations: Mundial Montreal, International Indigenous Music Summit, Global Toronto, Small World Music, CINARS, CAPACOA, Folk Music Ontario, Sunfest and FolQuébec.
