Vassilis Saleas
Traditional Clarinet
He was born in a family of musicians, in Messologgi. He is self taught and plays the clarinet for 35 years, since he was 11 years old. He’s collaborated with Mikis Theodorakis, Vaggelis Papathanasiou, Mimis Plessas, Stamatis Spanoudakis, Ara Dinkjan, the Gipsy Kings. His interpretations include works of the above mentioned composers, as well as his own compositions and traditional tunes. Vassilis Saleas was the teacher of many of nowadays clarinet players in Greece.
