SERGIO DE LOPE (flute and saxophone) is one of the most important artists on the flamenco and jazz scene considered by critics as "the great renovator of current flamenco".

This project "WOMEN" is co-starred with Sergio de Lope, three women, Mor Karbasi (Israel), Abir el Abed (Morocco) and Ángeles Toledano (Jaén). The stage direction is carried out by the National Dance Prize choreographer, Olga Pericet.

Sergio de Lope starts from traditional music with a meeting point: flamenco, which is a mirror to a certain extent of traditional Andalusian, Arab and Jewish music. The approach is to make traditional and flamenco music from the present, with a transgressive and innovative aesthetic.

Already innovating with the composition of the musical cast: piano (José Carra), electric bass (Juanfe Pérez), drums (Javier Rabadán) and saxophone and flute (Sergio de Lope) are non-conventional instruments in this type of traditional music, so the sound will be totally different, in addition to introducing elements related to electronic music.
