The focus of Animist Records is on the music of animistic cultures worldwide, and specifically Southeast Asia. The label curates both historic and new recordings, with the goal of of creating a circular production chain that generates attention and income for all people and cultures involved. Artists we work with include Apichat Pakwan, Lamaihansa, Isanjah, Kantrum Dongman, Lucid Voyages, The Magic Number, Trippin Jaguar & Kareem Raihani.
