Art Power is a cultural association based in Le Vauclin, Martinique, producing JazZ à la PoiNTe (JAP), an annual festival dedicated to jazz, and world music. Its sister structure, A Motion, is an independent record label based in Paris, founded to produce and distribute music at the crossroads of jazz, Caribbean traditions, and contemporary hybrid forms.
Together, Art Power and A Motion are focused on two connected goals: scouting artists and bands for JAP's programming, and driving the international development of NATIVE — Americas First Nations, an album by musician Nicolas Lossen co-produced across the Americas and the Caribbean. Through WOMEX, the two structures are actively seeking distribution partners, booking agents, and festival programmers to support the album's release and build a touring route across Europe, North America, and the Caribbean.
