Makam Duo was born out of the musical encounter between the neyplayer Mevlüt Akgüngör (BE/TR) and oudplayer Robert Micin (BE). Together they perform pieces from the vast repertoire of Turkish classical music and the mystical Sufi music such as taksims, peshrevs, ilahi’s and sazsemai’s in various makams.
