Artistic activities
Concerts, tours and recording productions around the world (including USA, Korea and several European countries) own projects Long Winding Road, Klima Kalima, Johnny La Marama, Soi, K-18, and with Pentasonic. Cooperation with a number of European and American jazz musicians (eg. Greg Cohen, Jim Black, Jason Moran, Anthony Braxton, Tomasz Stanko, Marc Ducret, Simon Stockhausen, Linda Sharrock, Ed Schuller, Carlos Bica, Jimi Tenor, Mikko Innanen, Teppo Hauta-Aho, Kari Heinilä, Raoul Björkenheim, Jazzanova). Artist of the Year of the Berlin Jazz Festival in 2007. Kalima appeared at the festival with four different band. In 2009-2010, touring with Johnny La Marama band in South America, Central America, Japan and Europe, the new album "Bicycle Revolution" cooperate in pursuit mm. German Goethe - Institute. 2009 commissioned work "Dance Suite for Domestic Animals" UMO Big Band. 2010 radio play SWR Broadcasting with Pentasonic. 2011 ordered composition by UMO Big Band. 2012 commissioned work "Pulp Friction" 60 minutes NDR Big Band in Hamburg. The songwriting springs Ensemble "Kata Heian Nidan" was premiered in 2013. Visiting lecturer in Oslo and Copenhagen conservatories, the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and the University of Lucerne Masterclass 2012. Deputy Professor Kurt Rosenwinkel JIB 2015 in Berlin. In January 2016, ACT released the album "High Noon" bassist Greg Cohen (Ornette Coleman, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, John Zorn) received a lot of positive attention internationally. 2016 Ted Curson -award Pori Jazz and Deutsch Jazz ECHO kandidate "Gitarre National" (Electric Willow); 2017 ordered composition Ansbacher Bach-Woche Ensemble Resonanzille and electric guitar "Louhi"; 2017 Jazzahead Tenors of Kalma showcase and A Novel of Anomaly showcase ; Professor (25%) guitar teacher at the University of Luzern 2017/9-; 2019 ordered composition Opera Lyon Purcellin Dido & Aeneas 16.3.2019-
