Zapata is a versatile artist, as much in his facet of composer as in the one of interpreter, where he puts music to the voices of spanish poets such as Aleixandre, Garcia Lorca, Cernuda, Salinas, Leon Felipe, Agustin Garcia Calvo, etc...poems that alternate with the interpretation of own subjects and versions where the flamenco roots are present almost always. He begins performing live in the spring of 2005 in "La Carboneria" of Seville and in some concerts of his father, flamenco singer El Cabrero, as the backing act. Currently is working in the studio on his first record, which will be a reflection of his live performances and will show influences of flamenco, pop and rock.

Emiliano Dominguez, ZAPATA, songwriter; was born in Seville, Spain, in 1980. At the age of just 8, he performs the song "Luz de Luna" (Moonlight) in the acclaimed film of french director Beatrice Soule "El Cabrero: El Canto de la Sierra", a documentary based on the life and work of his own father, El Cabrero, one of the first voices and most respected singers in the spanish music called Flamenco.

At this time he starts playing piano and guitar and experiments with many music genres, from flamenco and argentinian tango to rock and pop; which later on will be the background of his current music style. When he is 13 writes the music and words of his first songs, and combines composing and writing with school until in 2000 leaves university, deciding to dedicate himself totally to music.
