Aurelia Dey is a multi-artistic force that do Nordic and Ghanaian folk/traditional fusion, Afrobeats, Reggae/Dancehall, acting and choreographs. She sheds light on mental health and investigates the intersectional through artforms with her Ghanaian and Swedish heritage as starting point. “Sunday Service” is her latest album and has a toured concert experience “Community Carries Legacy” with her liveband and dancers in “Avenue”. The core of the big band Avenue is Nordic folk music meeting Afro-Caribbean rhythms. The contrasts creates a musical experience with Afrobeat, Reggae, Dancehall, Nordic folk and Ghanaian Highlife boiled down in dramaturgical performances.
