Composed of 13 songs, Noró is a tribute to the north of the Iberian Peninsula, its people and its music, solid and ancestral, a sound portrait of the most northern landscapes. Nurtha, Nord, Norte... Noró, is a current revision of a research and recovery work of music coming from A Fonsagrada, Laxe, Nuez de Aliste, Vimianzo or Quintanilla del Monte. Pieces that make up our musical DNA.
According to Xabier Díaz, "this album is like a portrait of my recent timeline, like a need to finish the carving and improve the method, like a persistence of The Tambourine Man, as if I wanted to have the map of the last trips tattooed to finally get out of my confussion before desorienting myself again. This album also celebrates the balance of this little and organized adufeira republic in which I learn so many things without having anyone specify them to me."
