Born in Recife/PE, the artist Matheus de Bezerra began composing during his childhood, but only in his youth he started to put melodies in his lyrics using a guitar left by his grandfather, who also left him some magazines that instructed classic MPB chords.
Nowadays, Matheus has more than a million of views on streaming platfforms with two EP’s named ‘Carne de Máquina’ and ‘Músicas sobre paz que fiz durante a guerra’, one of them is an authorial production, besides, he also produced a record (Tropikal).
Bezerra’s pieces draw attention of film producers in 2020 when he composed the soundtrack of the webseries ‘Fragmentos de nós dois’, which in 2021 became a feature film with its soundtrack produced by him.
