Womex is in town and the city is full of great World Music musicians. The World Music organizations from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland decided to use the opportunity to present some of the best Nordic World Music acts during three intense days at Global CPH. Each day they will present three Nordic world music showcases.
This evening you can listen to the beautiful voice of Kurdish born ‘Mizgin’ from Denmark, the Swedish band ‘Faela’, who created their own sound through an explosive mix of styles and the young and energetic Danish band ‘Bagdad Beat’ playing Balkan, Arabic and Rock music characterized by rattling desert-licks and dusty horns.
