Sattar Khan is one of the young talents of Langa music. He leads the voices of more than 100 youth in his village of Barnawa and Lakhe ki Dhani in Barmer. The twenty four year old singer has mastered his skills from his father Siddiq Khan Langa. He has been on a world tour with popular music composer duo Salim Sulaiman and is a featured artist in their popular album called Baalam Ji. Sattar has also performed at various other national and international stages like literature festival, Kala Ghoda Festival, state tourism department festivals and Jaipur Virasat Foundation, talent show Indian Idol etc. The other band members are also young talented artists. The group presents traditional folk music of western Rajasthan and Sufi music with the accompaniment of traditional folk instruments like Sindhi Sarangi, Algoza, Dholak and Kahartal.
