Born in Los Palacios y Villafranca, Seville, Manuel Busto is one of the young talents from Spain with the biggest international presence in the fields of lyrical and symphonic music, and dance.
During the current season he has been contracted by the National Ballet of Spain (BNE) as composer and conductor, and he also conducted La Traviata for the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville. He has been invited to collaborate on several projects with the Academia Baremboin-Said orchestra and the Royal Symphonic Orchestra of Seville (ROSS). For season 2020/21, Manuel Busto is going to conduct one for one of the most most prominent opera institutions in Asia, the National Opera and Orchestra of Taiwan.
His versatility is evident in the opera and the symphonic world, he works regularly with main theatres and orchestras of countries with a great musical tradition, such as England, Holland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Moldavia and Albania. In recent seasons, he has been invited regularly by the Dutch National Opera and Ballet, the Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, and the Teatro Lírico Guiseppe Verdi di Trieste.
