YANGOS is a reference in Southern Brazilian instrumental music. YANGOS turns the union of the piano, percussion, accordion and acoustic guitar into a powerful mix of milongas, chamamés, rasguidos and chacareras, recognized as creators of a new style spawned from root and gaucho music. Their album Chamamé (2017) was nominated for a Latin Grammy in Las Vegas in that same year, and the quartet is currently working on a new release for 2019-2020.
Russia's 2018 FIFA World Cup was also the stage where YANGOS performed among 11 artists specially selected for the major event; the band states they play for the people, enabling new sensations through scenic aesthetics and sound diversity. YANGOS is represented by BELIC Arte.Cultura, who is looking for bookers in Asia and Europe to partner and promote this high energy live performance overseas, bridging the gaps in favor of a growing overseas audience.
