'Bellydance Superstars Productions' is the entertainment property created by legendary music Entrepreneur, Miles Copeland. For your convenience, a short biography of Miles is presented below. The Bellydance Superstars is the world's premier touring bellydance troupe.



Miles Copeland's Bellydance Superstars Productions includes box office, CD, DVD and apparel merchandise revenue streams.



We will be attending WOMEX specifically to showcase our CD products and to secure licensing and/or distribution arrangments for them. The music is centered in Arabic melody, rhythms and instrumentation, both with and without vocals. Sample CDs and information sheets will be available at our stand. MILES COPELAND

One of the music industry’s most influential figures, Miles Copeland’s

career in management stretches back almost 40 years. His management

credits include Sting,The Police, Wishbone Ash, Joan Armatrading, Sex Pistols, the Clash, and Blondie. In 1999, Copeland introduced Sting to Algerian Raï singer, Cheb Mami, and their collaboration resulted in the hit “Desert Rose,” a breakthrough for Arab music that crossed over into mainstream American music.



Today, with his affinity for Arab music, Miles is on a mission to introduce the arts and culture of the Middle East to the West. In addition to his work with Hakim, Cheb Mami, Rachid Taha and Amr Diab, Copeland is the mastermind behind the Bellydance Superstars, the world’s premier touring bellydance troupe. Hailed as the next big dance show phenomenon to follow Riverdance,the Bellydance Superstars have performed over 300 concerts in 14 countries.
