Verônica Ferriani was born in Ribeirão Preto, inner city in the state of São Paulo, in a family that has always strongly cultivated the taste for music. So, at the age of 8, she began studying guitar. She also didn't hide her interests in arts in general, and, in 1996, she moved to the capital to study architecture and urbanism in one of the greatest brazilian universities, USP, where she graduated in 2002. In the same year she went back to studying music and saw her first passion grow in a ravisher way.

At the end of 2003, indicated by her singing teacher, she made her debut in the career with the invitation of Chico Saraiva, winner of Premio Visa - one of the most important music awards in Brasil - that year. She performed with the composer and guitarist in a two-year tour which visited several stages of São Paulo, inner of the state, Rio de Janeiro and other capitals in Brazil. Parallel, her interpreter career got its own life. Owner of a voice and presence that stands out in different musical styles of the Brazilian popular music, Verônica started to integrate and lead samba circle and several shows in Brazil. She was invited to join important musical projects and TV programs with artists such as: Beth Carvalho, Ivan Lins, Élton Medeiros, Francis Hime, Moacir Luz, Paulinho Moska, Maestro Spok, Jair Rodrigues, Tom Zé, Marcelo D2, among others. She also made the openings for the shows of Jorge Ben, Luís Melodia, Demônios da Garoa and several names of Velha Guarda, ancient (old timers) composers of samba schools as Portela and Mangueira.

Performing especially in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Verônica has highlighted her work in the eyes of criticism and public even before lauching her first CD. Beth Carvalho, the singer, has indicated in her interviews Verônica's name as “the prominence of the new brazilian generation”. About four years after going on the stage for the first time, and with a considerable path, the singer will launch her premiere CD in the beginning of 2009. The musical production is signed by BiD.
