As a legacy from Compay Segundo, this group remains alive under the leading of his own son, Salvador Repilado. The band respects its previous repertoire and also includes new lyrics to the enriched traditional music genre they play.
In the year 2007, a series of festivities it'll be taking place in a Cuba and around the world, celebrating the 100th aniversary of his birth. Compay Segundo was a star member of the Buena Vista Social Club.
