Bushfire 2011 takes place from 27th - 29th May 2011: http://www.bushfire.co.sz
Swaziland’s Bushfire Festival is an annual explosion of entertainment hosted in the internationally acclaimed House on Fire - one of the most eclectic performance venues in the world! (www.house-on-fire.com)
Bushfire seeks to create a platform not only for the growth and development of the arts but also highlights and raises funds for some of the more critical social needs that face our country, donating 100% of festival profits to Bushfire’s main beneficiary Young Heroes, Swaziland’s first Internet-based fundraising initiative and NGO for HIV/ AIDS orphans. In a country which has the highest rate of HIV/ AIDS in the World, Bushfire’s philosophy, "Call to Action", establishes the festival as one of the only events of its kind on the African continent.

Situated in Swaziland’s Ezulwini Valley (Valley of Heaven), Bushfire offers 4 stages of World-class entertainment for 3 full days and nights...A fantastic event for the entire family.
Location and setting adds to the lure of the festival. Bushfire is staged at House on Fire, an astonishing melting pot for creativity in the Swazi Kingdom. Its architecture and atmosphere offer a distinctly new African flavour formed by Pop-Art statues, colourful revelations, soapstone relief and a quirky sense of humour. Highlighting Swaziland as a top African destination, this fabulous combination of a socially conscious event hosted in a mind-blowing setting, ensures that both artists and audience come back time and time again.
