C7M World

C7M WORLD is a new division of Clarion/Seven Muses which is dedicated to representing world music artists. With over 30 years' experience in the classical music business, we have considerable knowledge of working with artists and promoters and have managed many outstanding performers including Victoria de los Angeles, Cleo Laine & John Dankworth and the trombonist Christian Lindberg; and have toured the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra.



In 1999 our vocal ensemble I Fagiolini experienced an enormous success with Simunye, their collaboration with the South African SDASA Chorale from Soweto. Together they recorded a CD for Erato and we toured the project. This success reinforced our confidence in the exciting possibilities of world music.



Finally this year C7M WORLD was born, set up as a separate division of Clarion/Seven Muses with the intention of presenting some of the best world artists to Europe's music fans. With a particular interest in encouraging world music in the UK, our aim is to develop partnerships with artists, record companies and other international agents to further the music and musicians from Europe's rich cultural diversity.
