CHAMBAO New double CD and New tour based on the history and hits of the ban

Chambao dives into the most luxurious and global electronic and world music to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

It is ten years since the band made their breakthrough with what came to be known as flamenco chill, a decade during
which the group from Málaga (Southern Spain) has developed a unique music that has set trend in the Spanish music scene, going beyond frontiers and achieving international recognition. Chambao celebrate their 10th anniversary with a double album featuring updated and brand new versions of their iconic songs, which are pervaded by the electronic and world music's most luxurious sounds; a work also including some of the most celebrated collaborations by the band.

The album will be available in a number of countries like Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, Germany, Poland,Bulgaria, Turkey, Colombia, Venezuela...

These last ten years of musical experience are taken up by producers Carlos Raya and Bob Benozzo (both working with Chambao since the band's early days), with the help in the programming process of Ale Acosta (From Fuel Fandango).
Top artists like Estrella Morente, Lila Downs, Totó La Momposina, Javier Ruibal and Estopa have collaborated in some of the songs, while world famous producers and djs like Talvin Singh, Gilles Peterson, Afterlife or Howie B have provided masterfully remixed versions of some of the tracks. . The outcome is a less “flamenco” album, more contemporary, also featuring some of Chambao's most celebrated collaborations during these ten years: Duets with Cesária Évora, Mario Díaz, Ricky Martin, Antonio Lizana, Rosario Flores, Macaco or Jarabe de Palo, among others

10 Años Around The World will be released in two formats: A Deluxe edition and a standard edition. The digital format(including a digital booklet) has been mastered in 24 bits for iTunes for the best sound quality. A variety of formats
containing the essential: a more modern and electronic band moving slightly away from fusion music and the instrumental virtuosity present in their more recent works. In short, an international Chambao that draws on their
original electronic roots, standing out the natural and fresh qualities in Lamari's voice; here the band seems to have imbued in the different musics of the places they have visited during the last years: Eastern Europe, South America, the UK, Turkey ….
