On the seashore of Southern Italy, Lecce for twelve years, Sud Est Indipendente festival is a point of reference for indierock music and for both Italian and foreign up-and- coming bands.
International artists like Gogol Bordello, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Kings Of Convenience, Arab Strap, Blackmidi are just some of the names that we hosted,
But our festival is much more... Our live concerts take places in different areas: a pinewood opposite the sea, the Roman Amphotheatre of Lecce, a grat Castle in Corigliano D'Otranto, historical squares and soul places.
Concerts at times very rock and at times very intimate. But all marked by one word: beauty.
We plan our festival to be more and more international.We are looking for partners, networking, new bands, journalists who want to discover our reality and our wonderful territory.
