The group was formed in 1988 and had their first live gig in 1989 with the following line-up: Giulio Sangirardi (guitars) Gabriele Bufalini (keyboards) and Roberto Roda (bass).
In 1991 the first demo tape with the line-up that would last for a couple of years: Giulio Sangirardi (guitars, bass), Davide Brillante (guitars, bass), Gabriele Bufalini (keyboards,bass), Diego Baroncini (vocals) and Andrea Contestabile (drums).
From 1994 after a long period of songwriting and concerts the group who would record their first full length cd was decided: Andrea Cavani (vocals), Giulio Sangirardi (guitars, bass, noises), Gabriele Bufalini (bass, keyboards), Stefano Pigliapoco (guitars), Andrea Sbaffi (drums, 12 strings guitar).
In 1996 after the release of the cd 'Il canto del cigno?' (Dischi di Ozz records) the line-up changed again and the group who are still now together was formed and to record the second cd 'Lindbergh' (Cyc Promotions records), now they just play instrumental music.
Giulio Sangirardi (guitars, e-bow, midi guitar, guitar synth, voices sampled from sci-fi films), Andrea Ghidini (guitars), Gabriele Bufalini (bass, keyboards, programming), Stefano Grassi (drums) plus Andrea Mussi (who plays live Moog and provides live footage and films for the stage screen).
The group since the year 2.000 has a contract with CYC PROMOTIONS who produced the second cd ( and the following Italian tour) with the intention of releasing another two 4 tracks cd's within the end of the year 2002.
The group who had started playing with a dark-psychedelic-new wave style now plays a mix between space rock, psychedelic jam sessions, post rock, voices from outer space, ambient, moog and vintage synths, shoegazing pop….the English press (Total Guitar magazine September '96) defined them as the Italian answer to Pink Floyd……well…..
There has been a lot of contact between the group and foreign labels and distributions (e.g. In Scotland the 'Lindbergh e.p.' is distributed by CD Services; Votiva Lux joined several compilations made in the U.K. during the nineties).
