Since 2009, d’Orfeu Associação Cultural promotes the anual world music festival Festim, over the months of June and July, on each weekend. A journey through the five continents brings the best of world music to Águeda and other neighboring municipalities working as a partnership. A world music festival that is already a reference in Portugal.
Festim plays a bigger role each year in promoting the country, with its unique lineup compromised by internationally acclaimed artists - based on a single network shared between the participating cities - and ever growing fanbase, all wrapped up in a true celebration of cultural diversity.
