Darbuka, gongs, berimbau, kalimbas, pandeiro, riqq, doholla, bendir, udu... These are the instruments used by the three virtuosos to create melodic, groovy and trance music you've never heard before. Three percussionists, three different sources of inspiration for a sound that travels very, very wide! Compositions, improvisations, trance, virtuosity, acousticity, electronics ... HiM invites to movement and sharing.

Simon, Falk and Robbe are Belgian artists who have made the discovery of worldwide rhythms a real passion. Through their percussion, each of them is hyperactive on the European scene. Although respectively trained on percussions of different origins, the beauty of the project lies in the coexistence of varied instruments and influences reinforcing each other in a unique sound.

What HiM offers is a music that puts percussion at the center. Far from its accompanying role, percussions are here in full light, played as solo instruments. The motto of the trio is to create a contemporary and innovative music without neglecting the cultural background of each of the traditional instruments they are using and to find the perfect balance between composition and improvisation in order to create organic, groovy and sensational performances.
