Cezar Thomaz, well known as CEZZINHA, is a self-taught accordion player and singer. He began his career at age 13 by his father's encouragement. His first steps on the path of musical professionalism happened in adolescence, at “Sanfônica Orchestra”. Once playing at the Orchestra, Cezzinha made several presentations with brazilian famous musicians of the genre Forró. Always calling people's attention by having an young age and a natural musical talent, quickly Cezzinha became a great player, and his skills have surprised big names of Brazilian music scene as Dominguinhos (the king of Accordion in Brazil), Elba Ramalho, Geraldo Azevedo, Margareth Menezes, the warbling Santanna, Roberto Carlos, among others.

In 2005, was chosen to represent the Regional Culture of Pernambuco, at the event "Year of Brazil in France", where he made the presentation "Carreau du Temple". This participation earned emphasis in the Brazilian and international press.

In addition, the accordionist made several international presentations as the Brazilian Day in New York, and shows in Turkey, Italy, Portugal, France and Albania, developing an instrumental work and accompanying various artists in their international tours.

In 2007 he performed with the master of accordion, Dominguinhos, at the festival “São João de Caruaru” in Caruaru, the capital o Forró, where he was exalted by the master as the new big name of Forró (brazilian genre).
